I know it's a bit of a no-no, but Will and I started shooting weddings without prior wedding photography experience. Yes, yes, please give me an extra glare next time you see me and wave a disappointed finger in my direction. Anyways, I skipped right past the opportunity to second shoot and have always regretted the missed opportunity. So, when Megan Vaughan Photography mentioned she was looking for a second shooter for Michelle and Jon's wedding, I practically jumped at the idea. Who says you can't lead one weekend and assist in the next? Even as rapidly as Will and I have been picking up on the photo biz, I don't think there will EVER come a time where we think we know it all... and I will honestly be thankful if that day never comes. I owe Megan so much for taking moments out of such a busy day to help me learn and grow. I didn't even have to ask! Whenever there was a small teachable moment, she kindly stopped and explained little details, like why certain lighting locations were better than others. She is a natural teacher and has SO much to share. If you also love her work, check out her Fall Styled Shoot coming up soon!
Here are a couple of mine from the big day:

Love it...

What a stunning bride...

Michelle and Jon shared an intimate prayer before the ceremony...
