Sometimes Will gives me the you're-a-crazy-person look. You know, the one with one eyebrow raised and eyes wide. Yup, that one. Well a couple weeks ago, I managed to bring out that sweet look again. I had just told him that on the way to the Creative at Heart Conference, I was going to assist on a wedding day in Richmond, VA. Now, that doesn't sound too crazy right?! Wellll it was right after we had gotten home for the holidays (like within 24 hours) and right before a week long trip to Key West (the adventure starts tomorrow!), so I guess I'll admit he had a few good points... oh dear, did I just admit that?! Well, now I've gone and opened up a can of worms! ;) Anyways, despite the bit of crazy that it takes to do everything, there was beauty in it. I was able to connect with so many wonderful people at the conference AND learn from one of the industry's best, Terri Baskin. Let me tell you that she is incredible! In the face of bi-polar weather and a floating timeline, she remained steady. I think the most valuable lesson I can take away from working with her is her grace. She was so relaxed and ready to adjust at a moment's notice, even on a rainy day in the heart of winter! Thank you Terri for being a steady rock and a rock star at the same time! What an experience!
Here are a few of my favorites from second shooting and assisting Terri Baskin this past Saturday:
Love, love, love her colors!!
Their first look was filled with so much love!
