This weekend went by just as fast as all our others, but we were lucky enough to catch several moments to ourselves and to focus on photoG stuff. It felt like a breath of fresh air to have hours to sit with Will and concept our visions for the business. Not only did we have to think about where we wanted it to go, but where able to put a process in place to get all these ideas out of our heads and put into action! A couple things I learned this weekend:
- Laundry is a form of torture. Ok, this might be an slight exaggeration but going on vacation for a weekend and then adding on a week's worth of laundry after that left a mountain for this weekend. It was a gentle, overflowing reminder of how our personal lives need attention every once in a while.
- "Gone Girl" was creeply entertaining... if you haven't seen the movie, it's definitely an interesting one. We enjoyed the movie but should add a little disclaimer: you might sleep with one eye open for a day or two!
- It is possible to cover most of a wall in white board. Will scooted out of bed Saturday morning with a mission to start making our office space support our big dreams. He returned with 92'' by 48" and a 92" by 40" white board pieces that we promptly secured to an office wall. Call us nerds, but there is something heel-clickingly awesome about a full wall of white board! We immediately dived in with dry erase markers, brainstorming our new process... more on that later I'm sure ;)
We shared our Saturday night with good friends and fellow volunteers at the Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Banquet. Does that bearded fool clean up nice or what?! ;)
