I remember rushing across the Drill Field on the Virginia Tech campus with gusting winds and a heavy bag of books. I would like to say I miss it, but I cannot commit to that. I liked being a student, but I LOVE being an alumni. Now I can walk through the beautiful buildings remembering the good times and not have to worry about a single test. It's a good life! So, when Val asked if I would be interested in doing some grad pics on campus, I would say that I was overly excited. Val is feeling the same way I did my senior year; she is so ready for that diploma! Don't get me wrong, we both LOVE being Hokies and will miss all those fun-only-in-college-moments, but there is nothing like that feeling of having everything done. As we were walking along, we chatted about future plans. At one time, Val and I were both in Human Anatomy and Physiology Lab together and were both on the same nursing track. While, I moved away from nursing, she plans to continue onto be a Paramedic and I couldn't be happier for her. This life-saver is so close to the finish line!!
Odd graduation memory: Did anyone else pathetically cry to The Graduation Song (even if it wasn't meant for college graduation)?! Yea... totally did that.

Could not get enough of that stunning smile...

I love this idea! Love and thanks to mom and dad!

Val was a good sport and had no problem hoping the fence...

Gotta love the giant geese at the Duck Pond...

Basically my favorite photo of the entire shoot there on the left and totally not planned!! Love it...

I hardly believed it when she said that she had never had professional photos before! Look at that model...
