It's no secret that Will and I have been working hard to add videography to our talents, but that's a lot easier said than done! One of the biggest challenges we faced when we started putting ourselves "out there" was wondering if, well, anyone would take a leap of faith and work with us. It felt like going back to our first few lonely days in business when we were fighting for that first chance... So humbling and so rewarding all at the same time.
Without any real portfolio, we contacted a few of our favorite designers with hopes that they would be willing to take a chance on us. And I've got to say, we know some incredible people!! I was almost brought to tears with the supportive responses and chance we were given. Jenna with Pop the Cork Designs emailed us back almost immediately saying she would love to have us join a shoot she was putting together at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club!! I really couldn't believe it. Not only is she one of our favorite wedding designers, but she was welcoming us in to a shoot at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club! So beautiful!
I loved the nautical navy theme Jenna & team put together. The elegant details were nothing short of stunning and had us oohing and ahhing all day long. From brilliant orb chandeliers to the soft color pallet, this shoot had us really feeling the love! I need to give serious shout out to some seriously amazing talent:
