There are not many people who would travel three hours north to then head five hours south but when Michael asked us if we would travel to capture his and his fiancé-to-be's proposal, we were totally on board! I remember when Will got down on one knee not so long ago and how surreal the whole thing was. From the moment he bent down on one knee everything felt like it was flying by and standing still at the same time. Am I being dramatic? It's ok, it was one of those moments that I am allowed that! All I wanted to do was be in the moment but there were people to call and plans to make and who knows what else! So many things to think of! Oh yea, and YES! Yes I will marry you!! Anyways, the point I am trying to make is that I was so happy that Christian was there to capture a couple pictures of us so that I can stop, look, and remember about that crazy-good moment! Now all of you single gents out there can take some pointers from Michael! He was so smart in his planning and totally surprised Farrah! She really had no idea, even after they had been dating for five years!! He got her down to Charlottesville to "meet friends" at the Barboursville Vinyard and asked her to walk with him to the overlook. This is were we decided Will and I would be disguised as picnickers!
Seriously, these two were so sweet and totally caught up in the moment. In fact, as we were taking photos, Farrah had to stop and look at Michael and just say "I can't believe it!" with happy tears in her eyes!! Adorable! Sweet! Surreal!
No one else existed...
I cannot get enough of these smiles!
If the trees were in bloom all year, I would not complain!!
Farrah had only ever heard stories of her grandmother's ring, and got to see the stone for the first time when it was placed on her own finger...
