From the moment they inquired about a session, I knew I was just going to absolutely love working with John and Nicole. I have known them for a couple years now through mutual friends. We have enjoyed ball games and back yard BBQs together and I have loved watching Carson (their sweet baby girl) go from very little to a toddler full of joyful energy. They truly are the kind of people that can make you laugh in an instant or let out that loud "awww" when they toss Carson up in the air and then give her a big kiss. It is even more amazing to know that their family is growing and I cannot wait to see this beautiful baby boy and all the joy that it adds to such a happy family. Now I have to share that even though the pictures were full of smiling faces, there were storm clouds brewing. I don't mean this metaphorically. I mean big, dark cumulonimbus clouds. When we started they were far off and we were unconvinced that they were really headed our way. A while into the session we looked up and they were MUCH closer and announced their presence with some rather loud rumbling thunder. That uh-oh moment occurred and we started walking back to the cars, which soon turned into a full run! I guess we timed it perfectly considering we beat the rain by SECONDS!! Few.
